Today is the birthday of Hattie Albrecht our inspiration at Hattie’s House. Hattie is the daughter of founders Laurie & Andy Albrecht, & she went home to heaven in Dec 2002 at only 10 months old after battling bacterial meningitis. Her brief, but bright life on earth, has inspired the work of Hattie’s House.

Hattie’s House exists to “Help Hattie, Help Others” through offering families in need of major medical care: support, encouragement, & free medical housing as a home away from home.
